What came out is a knife that redefines what a Wharncliffe can be. We kept the aggressive swedges, flattened the edge geometry with a high grind, and forged it into a razor-sharp, battle-ready monster that slices deeper and faster—while still keeping the brutal strength that defines a T.Kell blade.

Unlike traditional Wharncliffes, which are notorious for fragile tips, we engineered this one with reinforced geometry. The dual swedge design delivers precision with a devastating point, but without sacrificing durability. You get a scalpel’s control with a sledgehammer’s strength—no compromises.

This isn’t just a rework—it’s a total rethink. Reverse Tanto influence still anchors the blade’s aggressive profile, while the CQB-optimized 30-degree grind makes for wide, devastating cuts. Made from .165” thick American high carbon steel, dual tempered to 61 HRC using our advanced deep cryogenic treatment process, the Guardian 2.0 can take on anything you throw at it—on duty, in the field, or in the fight.
