My shop overlooks Taylors ridge in the mountains of Northwest Georgia and has often provided inspiration and relaxation. In the early days of T.Kell Knives the forge was outside under a lean-to. I'd take my breaks from the ringing of the anvil to enjoy a cup of coffee and take in the beauty of the sunrise cresting Taylors Ridge. In fact many of our videos feature a glimpse of the ridge in the background. Taylors Ridge holds a special place in my heart.

The Taylors Ridge was Initially designed as a skinning knife and quickly become popular for EDC as well. Cut, and cut, and cut, and skin, and chop, and slice, and pry, and split wood, and anything else you want or need to do and our blade can take it and come back for more. It features a drop point blade with a deep belly to maximize each stroke when skinning. For food prep the higher grind allows for more detailed and thinner slices. The more aggressive drop point makes the Taylors a great EDC blade for protection and self-defense should you need it. Another do all blade from T.Kell, the Taylors ridge has been put thru much abuse to test its effectiveness in the woods and on the streets. One of our original designs that still remains a top choice today.

Featuring Full tang blade hardened and tempered to 57RC in house to precise standards using a 6 hour heat treat process that provides you with an extremely durable blade that will take and hold a terrifyingly sharp cutting edge and take a beating. 1.5 inch wide 3.5 inch long blade has a deep belly to maximize every cut by giving you more cutting edge per slice. The grip is designed to lock your hand to the knife and the knife is perfectly balanced in the front finger making it comfortable to use for hours. 

As with all T.Kell Knives the Taylors Ridge will hold up and perform beyond any other knife you have ever used.
