Frogman Tactical is a self defense company that provides training to Military, Law Enforcement, and Citizens, founded and operated by former U.S. Navy SEAL Jason Pike. Jason was a member of SEAL Team 7, OIF combat veteran, instructor at NSWG-1 training detachment, government contractor, and currently CEO of FM Tactical. One of the issues Jason experienced in the SEAL Teams and training others as a civilian was a knife that works on kit for Close Quarters Combat and for Every Day Carry, which led him in the search of the CQC/EDC “Gideon” in collaboration with T.Kell Knives.

After much testing and evaluation, we bring you the “Gideon” V2. Gideon meaning “Great Warrior”, or “One Who Cuts Down”, in Hebrew. The Gideon is a full spectrum knife designed to be used in every possible situation you may find yourself in defensively.

The GIDEON V3 is based on our Nightstalker grip, with the first 2 inches of the reverse edge sharpened to a 30 degree razors edge.

We used our famed Night handle platform to create theThe Gideon V3. It is .165" thick 80CRV2 blade heat treated to our exacting standards. Our triple temper and deep cryogenics make this blade nearly indestructible. Backed by our 'Life Of The Knife' guarantee. The Gideon V3 builds on the tradition of the Gideons before it, and is a true warriors blade. Every detail has been carefully thought out and designed to provide you ultimate usability and comfort. The grip with integral finger ring and eye pick has internal rounding for extreme comfort in all carry positions, tip up, tip down with or without your finger in the ring. The Gideon V3 becomes part of your hand, prevents dropping or being disarmed with the finger ring that NOW features a sharpened temple spike/glass breaker with and added eye pick. Further locking you onto your knife the blade has an integral thumb rest with aggressive jimmping. The trailing point style fighter blade, features a full blade length swedge with the first 2 inches is razor sharp to increase cutting and piercing ability. The Gideon is supremely comfortable, fast, balanced to feel light but built to take on anything or anyone. GIDEON V2

The GIDEON V2 CQC is based on our Nightstalker CQC with the reverse edge sharpened to a 30 degree razors edge, added grenade jimmping to the thumb ramp and front finger well, and a sharpened temple spike. It will feature a custom OD Green and Black burl G10 grip available only on this blade, making each blade one of a kind.

We used our famed grenade handle platform to create the Gideon. The Gideon V2 has a .125" thick limited production using 80CRV2 blade heat treated to our exacting standards. Our triple temper and careful post process' make this blade indestructible and is backed by our 'Life Of The Knife' guarantee. The grip with integral finger ring that now has internal chamfering to reduce drag is designed to be comfortable in all carry positions, tip up, tip down with or without your finger in the ring.
